I always have Google as my opening page when I click on Microsoft Edge.

For some reason, my PC has decided it would like a change, and opens with Yahoo.

I have tried following the instructions to re-set to Google, but nothing works - I even did a System Restore, and that didn't cure it!

I am running Windows 10, so if anyone can offer simple instructions, I would be most grateful.

Open Edge and go into settings- have you tried that?

I have checked the box to make Google the default, but it doesn't happen, even though I 'save' the change.

Do I need to re-start for it to work?

Clear your cache and then set the 'open with... specific page' to google page. It's woth hen logging out and in again- may not be necessary but it can't do any harm

you say that you are making google your default - that just changes your google search engine and won't change your chosen home page.

When you go into the settings look for 'network and internet' and then look for 'open with... specific page' you can then change the address that you want to use.

I found that there were two options for my page - Google and Yahoo, I deleted the Yahoo, and hey presto, back to good old Google!
