Luton airport run an aggressive parking policy at their drop off collection point where any unattended vehicles are immediately towed away. They use a tow truck which lifts the front wheels up and then tow the car along on the rear wheels. Obviously the rear handbrake of the car will be on, what damage could this cause and who would be liable to pay for it? Also, if it's a rear wheel drive car and it's been left in gear then again what damage could incur and who would be liable for cost?

If you park illegally then I'd guess you'd be liable?
i go there quite regular, and your right ,they have really tightened up on it,but the firm they are using are a right bunch of cowboys, the police in london when removing a car,do a check all round and note any damage etc etc,but i doubt whether this mob do. and i should think they couldent care less either, but as to who is responsible for any damage,i dont know.
