Usually do Javelin and Sharp's Maydup, but last year the earlies had a bit of scab. Probably due to the hot spell that we had early on. Didn't spoil anything other than the appearance, but I just thought...…..have a change and stop being "set" in your ways Togo. My tomatoes are the beggars that drive me nuts. Last year they were brilliant and somewhere in my man cave(shed) I have made a note of what I am definitely doing again. I found an outdoor variety that was magnificent( or it was me) and a hardy one that I had to stop in September. I will come back to this thread tomorrow with the varieties. Last year I also had cucumbers that were astonishing and learned a lot about how to support and set them up purely by default. Courgettes also please me and Strawberries(the ones I manage to hide from my feathered friends) always seem to have plenty of willing trialists. Still got Blackcurrants from last summer in the freezer too. Nothing more authentic than a gardeners tan. (^_*)
