Big Brothers Big Mouth - Tuesday night.

OK, I'll be straight right from the start. I don't watch big brother at all, and aside from this one thing (which is bugging me now and which is not so much about BB but about one of the spin off progs).

I fell asleep on the sofa last night, and woke up just before 12. No longer tired, I decided to stay up for an hour or so watching telly, so I started channel hopping and ended up on the above. Now what hooked me was trying to fathom out where I had seen one of the people that Russell was talking to. It was a woman, but there was something weird about her, and I KNOW I have seen her somewhere.

Now after racking my brains all day I THINK I know but I need it confirmed or denied. Many years ago, there was a precocious blonde young boy who was an "expert" in antiques. I know that at some point when he grew up, he had a sex change, and I suspect that this "woman" was actually him. Can anyone say whether it was or not, and maybe give a name?

Ive seen her on his show before so it was probably her...just done a google and his name was James Harris and her name is now Lauren.

Take it you didn't see the documentary that Keith Allen did about 2 years ago on Lauren Harris? It was called the Little Lady Fauntleroy. It was interesting to watch to start with but then it got quite disturbing.
The whole family seem quite eccentric to say the least!

Looking at your link Glammapus, I have had a thought! If there is another celebrity Big brother I wonder if she will be in it! I see in your link she audtioned in 2002 for just BB but the last couple of years she has been a bit of a regular on BBBM and shown quite an interest in the show, plus the documentary came out in 2004, so has since had a bit of publicity.
Hmmmmm I just had to share! Probably wrong and to be honest from watching that Keith Allen Doc it would definatly be car crash TV!!

The docu was good and they were all weird as they all had givden themselves fake doctorates in antiques and other stuff and most of the info he had been given as a young boy had been writtn down for him - the funniest clip was him on wogan where he had the prices written in sticky labels underneath which were quite easy to see

Wingnut you definatley have a point there ! She would be a good contestant and is a bit strange so thats normally the first thing they look for when choosing !
