Why don't you contact whoever runs/administers the wifi? They will know it.
The WEP key is used if the wifi signal is encrpyted. If the network is open then it shouldn't have one... try just ignoring it if it asks for a key. Does it let you in then?

If it really needs a WEP key, you'll have to ask whoever runs the wifi signal.
