Telling Porkies!
15 Answers
Parked at our local parade of shops in their car park today as I had to deliver some customer orders locally. I always forget to get a ticket from the machine to put on my windscreen, but think I’ve only seen a traffic warden once in 12 years. Anyway I’d just finished and was walking back to the car when I see a blooming traffic warden photographing all the cars and putting parking fines on their windscreens! She was about 4 cars away from mine! And there was no way I was going to get to the machine in time. So I sprint up behind her, and, keeping a very innocent face I casually say excuse me, do you know where the machine is as I can’t find it? Even though it was clearly in sight about 100 metres away. She looked me up and down as I was holding a blooming shopping trolley lol. Then very reluctantly reluctantly she pointed it out and I casually strolled over to get one, keeping a very straight face.
So tell me your tales of telling porkies!

Scam on Women of a Certain Age…Watch out this weekend, ladies…
Be careful of this scam
This new scam is being pulled mainly on older women who are apparently passed the age of giving a running pursuit.
What happens is that when the intended victim stops for a red light, a completely nude and good looking, nicely tanned, unbelievably well enhanced young man comes up with muscles flexing, and body stretched to its full potential, he pretends to wash your windshield. While he is doing this, another person opens the back door of your car, taking anything you have in the car.
They are very good at this. They got me seven times Friday and five times Saturday — I couldn’t find them on Sunday.
