can anyone tell me what i have to do to get my t.v. to be on the hdmi channel when i turn it back on. it allways comes on with av1 which is the dvd player although when it was turned off it was on sky (hdmi)???????

I dont think you can unfortunately, its a known fault with the Bravia range.

if you are hooked up thr a receiver, you can program your tv to always come back to hdmi. If you are not hooked up thru a receiver, then unfortunatelly it will revert to the dvd mode
