I saw this on the BBC site and tried to find an English version of the video but I failed.

This is the story: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-47370291

And this is a shortened version of the video on the BBC site. There has to be a joke there somewhere "How many firemen does it take to rescue a rat?"

It may be vermin, but if you killed it, you'd still have to remove it.
Aww poor little mite. Rats are made not to get stuck in small spaces, this one has failed and will have to hang his little ratty head in shame

Ratty2E,

I notice that she hasn't given her name, Rats are supposed to be too smart to get stuck like that.

There is a clip on YouTube of a cat wandering through the streets and a 'wild' rat decided to chase it. The cat wasn't taking any chances as it raced down the streets, as far away from the rat as possible.
