...I think that anyone over the age of 10 who passes away, should have their DNA checked against unsolved crimes, where unmatched DNA is available. That might make families look at their relatives in a different light if anything surfaced!

Or maybe they should take it at birth, or soon after.
Why leave it to 10?
Why not do it as soon as we are born?
Tag us all and put us on a register - why not?
Perhaps we should all be microchipped at birth, like dogs.
yeah and if they do an amniocentesis
( hey that is along word - anyone get tired before the end of it?)
then include it before birth ....
and also abortions

Not necessarily chipped but DNA not a bad idea. True story. Guy at a factory I used to work at had his DNA taken after some sort of fracas. Subsequently identified him as prime suspect for the rape and murder of a women years previously, he had left his DNA. Was subsequently tried and convicted.

Thanks for the replies. I only stated the age of 10 because that is age of criminality in this country. I still think it should be done.
