I seem to have two cursors. It is very annoying and just cannot find a way to delete the second cursor which is blinking up on the left by the recycle bin.
I have a HP pavillion with windows 10. I have tried going into my cursors file, but nothing helps.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Switching it off then on again doesn't help ?
Is your HP Pavilion a touchscreen model? If so, disabling the touchscreen driver might well fix the problem. (These instructions are for Windows 8 but it should be much the same for W10: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/How-to-Disable-the-touch-screen-for-HP-Pavilion-in-windows-8/td-p/3593265 )
First are you using a separate mouse (or the touch pad) second have you got HP assistant loaded? If both answers are yes, then download HP assistant again install it and do a restart.
HP pavilion user. HP assistant installed on ours. Been there.

Thanks for all advice. Waited until son came and we tackled this together. He deleted something and second cursor now gone. It was literally a blinking nuisance!!
What was it he deleted Sharon? If you don't know could you ask him? It may help other people in the future.
