Maybe Theland, but my idea of "conversation between friends" is an phone call or an email........something...personal.
But you are right, lifestyles have changed and one has to be more universally demonstrative.

she lost her very long battle, much away from here, but much , nevertheless...

I knew she was very ill, but her e mails never said what was wrong. She said she would die by Xmas, but beat the deadline. She was nice, and funny, and is missed.

Theland..she had many struggles .cancer relatled... and went through the treatments and endured all that was thrown at her with great fortitude.....however, it all went downhill in recent times, and a small few of us were with her until she could not be anymore.... and alas we lost a dear dear soul....

..and I miss her more than I can say.. I have a wee card and a new pen here..she knows/knew of my calligraphy background.. last used in my last card to her

Thank you Minty for posting this. Silly I know but I still miss our daily (sometimes 2, 3, 4 times a day) chats. They were about everything and nothing but important to both of us.

No disrespect Minty but the last few months she was on here - she just chose to permantly pick at people!
We all have friends we have lost on here but we don't feel the need to constantly post about it!

Actually I found her quite caustic at times. Sorry mm, but I did. Dying doesn't make Angels out of people, but you miss her and that's fair enough x
