another week
Few weeks now since my grandson has been going toilet for a wee no problems there.Put this up a few weeks ago tried all the advice given but just cannot get him to go for a poo .He will go for a wee then a few minutes after he will stand behind a chair and I know what he is doing. He loves cbeebies games on computer so I have stopped that and said he will get it on when he does it on toilet. So because once I caught him doing it and got him to toilet halfway and because it had actually dropped into toilet he said I have done it in toilet so i can get cbeebies on now.He is three and a half and I look after him 4 days in the week so as you know this is making it difficult to take him anywhere till he has done it.Anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated. He knows he is doing it as he says granma I have pooed and it is too late.He is a very bright child no other problems goes playschool twice a week. Thanks

I so know that bribing is wrong but it SO worked, had him out of nappies on to potty then toilet and even out off bedtime nappies in a whole 2 days!
However, my first son was gone four before he used the toilet for poos, he insisted on a nappy for a year between weeing on the toilet and pooing on it.
My daughter however, had a few weeks between each stage .......... just goes to say how different they all are and WILL do it when they are ready...(unless your grandson REALLY wants easter bunny to come extra early!!!
