Try 'hacking' one of your DVD players to make it 'region free'.

Most DVD players are manufactured with 'multi-region' capability but are then encoded so that they'll only work in one particular region. Removing the encoding is usually as simple as (for example) opening the drawer, typing in a 4-digit number on the handset and pressing 'OK'. All you need is the relevant number. To find that, try here:

All dvd players should play region 0 dvds, even the ones that are not region free.

My guess is this is a copy that somebody has burned on to a blank disk. (I know you can buy Region 0 dvds from the high street.)

For it to play on all other players the person who burned it should have finalised it. It will play on the original player without finalising, but not all others.
