urgent - lights tonight

does anyone know why all the lights in my house are flickering tonight (colchester)? thought the bulb was going in the bathroom so turned off the light for my bath and just put landing light on which also flickered so then thought it was ME and had something v serious wrong with my brain or eyes then daughter said it was downstairs as well. Any ideas? Surely it cant be the hot weather! Pog :p

My lights seem to flicker around 8pm most nights.
