I find it quite funny when doubles tennis players hide their mouths when discussing tactics in their shared native language. I don’t think many people could both lipread and translate from a foreign language.

wecalf - I think we can presume that when football managers talk to their teams, they instruct them in terms of tactics, which they wish to keep secret.

It's when the are interviewed that they all lapse into the same phrases and expressions that mean nothing and convey less.
