Sw010 Dash Cam Help
2 Answers
When I connect my SW010 dash cam to the computer via the lead I purchased it with, the program would open so I could see everything that was on the dashcam. Now for some reason, it wont open up on screen. It says....usb device not recognised, the last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned....... Any ideas what to do, thanks in advance.

(a) the other computer will recognise the device ; and
(b) when you re-try connecting the dashcam to the original computer it will magically work again.
I have absolutely no idea why that should happen but it's got me out of a hole countless times when I've found that a USB device isn't recognised on one machine (and several ABers have reported that it's worked for them too).
Alternatively, if the dashcam uses a memory card (as most do), simply remove the card and insert it into the memory card slot on your computer. If it's not got one you can buy a USB card reader very cheaply online. (Poundland used to sell them for a quid). This would do the job:
