I had an idea of how I was going to do this and I knew what I wanted and what I didn’t.

Then I nipped to see my Aunty and now my head is like a fireworks display on speed. I’ve bought a book to jot down ideas and plans and all that jazz but I just can’t...I haven’t a clue where to start now.

Sorry had to get that off my chest...does it get easier!?!?

Oh bless you Tinks.

I have a feeling my Aunty might do that, but I know she only wants to make it as easy as possible.

If I’m honest the only person I can think of that will maybe make things hard is my SIL to be.

But I’m making progress. I think I found a venue and since posting this I’ve actually got things out my head and on to paper!

I’ll brace myself anyways! Thank you for the heads up Tinks ;) x
You cant & wont please everyone!!!

Looking back now Im glad because my mum “got things done” like Im sure your auntie will..... but I felt like killing her at the time LOL!!!!!!

Enjoy honey xx

It might not be any use but I had a cool way to do a table plan but it was for 185 people!! NIGHTMARE!!!

Roll of paper...... draw circles with a mug for tables..... and names on the wee skinny post it notes!! Easily moved around xx

Tinks...I love you!

That was one of my biggest worries was table and seating plans! That’s such a good way to sort it out!

Thank you so much xx
I used a roll of lining paper from the pound shop LOL!!!!

Good old pinterest!!!!!!! Xx
Loved planning mine and Redmans, we had just 27 guests at a lovely hotel in Birmingham. I made all the invites etc and Dave wrote them with his lovely italic handwriting. My budget went on food, and flowers but I did make my own bouquet of will orchids and Crystal beads, things that everyone talked about. One thing I really enjoyed was raiding the dark recesses of ebay with a smaller wedding peop or often sell off small quantities of things like cake boxes they didn't use for tiny a.ounts. Another thing that went down well was a little tray in the ladies with spare tissues, panty liners, paraceta mol, cotton buds etc, commented on and something the hotel said they would provide in future. Remember it is your day, ditch any traditions you don't like or that are not you. We di tched speaches. I just thanked properly coming, and gave them a timetable , after we had eaten we did a bit of mingling, and the olds had nearly departure while the rest of us went on a real ale pub crawl. It was Reds day too after all

Thank you everyone, I’ve woke up today much clearer minded so hopefully things will pan out ok xx
I'm sure they will Queenie. Just make a todo list then put them in order.
It does get easier.

Unless you pick half term week to go shopping for your dress and realise the shop is going to be full of screaming teen girls getting their prom dresses..............

I have my dress already Barmaid - so that’s not an issue. The place I’m going to look for bridesmaids is appointment only and it’s usually one at a time.
