How Can I Remove Smoke Smell From Settee?
9 Answers
We bought a settee through a newspaper ad. It seemed fine when we bought it but on getting it home and being in the central heating we discovered it smells heavily of smoke. It's a fabric suite.
So far I have used bicarbonate soda, shampooed it with a machine, left It outside for 3 dry and windy days, set dishes of vinegar in the room but it still smells. Taking it back to the seller is not an option. Neither is something like Febreze as the smell returns when the perfume goes!
Anyone know a foolproof cure please.

Leave for several days and see how it turns out.
