I bet your the sort of person who thought "Pearl Harbour" was brilliant......to constantly compare any directors new films to his standing body of work is to miss the point and not give the film a chance to make it's own impact and mature own it's own merits.....Sure both Kill Bill parts are "Pulp Fiction"...becasue if they were it would have been called pulp fiction 2 and 3.....Yes I thought there were some flaws in both films (I thought the anime section in the first part wasn't needed and the climax came and went a little to quickly with Bill) but seriously.....give the films a chance.....they are far far better than the average mindless pap hollywood churns out.
you're a fool bluedolphin if you fail to appreciate the quality of this film. yes, it was far-fetched but here's the rub - it was supposed to be! the man himself said as much before both volumes were released. both volumes were done very well and were exactly what they said they would be.
I don't think either will be Award contenders but they were very enjoyable and a piece of mindless escapism.
what were you expecting, Citizen Kane?!
