What do you think of the Middle East and Afghan?

JUst a quick serious question, but what do you all think of our forces in the middles east and afghan? And what do you think of the media coverage of them, ie, should they be left alone to get on with it or should they be followed all the time? I was just wondering as it is always in the nesw now and although I fully support our forces I'm a bit fed up with seeing it all the time. Waht do you think?
