Radio 4 "off Air"

Tired of going round in circles on the BBC website looking for a way to ask this - does anyone know why Radio 4 will be off the air for 45 minutes next Wednesday afternoon?

I see they had part 2 of a crime drama scheduled. Maybe there's been a problem?

Where are you getting your information from? Has there been an on-air announcement about the outage or are you simply relying on what's shown on the BBC website? ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl7j/2019/04/03 ).

If it's the latter I suspect that it's simply down to human error in entering the programme details onto the page. If someone has forgotten to input the information about the drama production scheduled for that slot the website will automatically show 'Off air' (and state the time of the next programme that it knows will be transmitted).

Off 14:15 - 15:00 but can't see why.

It's on Radio 4's schedule and on the EPG but no reasons given. You could contact the Beeb and let us know their answer.

Radio 1 off @ 13:30 -13:45 as well

As I said, I've been trying to find a way of asking the BBC, but all I get are FAQs and suggestions. I discovered the problem when I was trying to set my machine to record the sequence of plays & found there was simply a blank where Wednesday's episode should be.
