A fairly old song

Watching VH1 Classic a few weeks ago and I saw a video for a really good song, that was very simple and included a really catchy tune, played on the piano. The video was in black and white and was simply an animated clay cat singing on stage in a really dark club of some kind. Does anyone know the song so I can download it?
