Theatre Tickets Online

In a nutshell i fancy seeing a show in birmingham in two weeks. So i tried to book tickets online. Seemingly impossible. Its looks like you can buy tickets with a gift voucher.

The matinee on the 20th is sold out but all other performances around the rough date you've indicated are showing 'limited availability':

Taking the evening performance on the 20th as an example, I'm seeing just two seats (together) available in the front stalls (at £76 each), 1 seat in the front circle (£76), 4 separate seats in the rear circle (£69 or £76) and 1 seat next to the mixer desk in the rear stalls for £36, with the boxes being sold out.

Clicking on an available seat brings up the option to click on 'Standard', which adds it to the basket. So where does it go wrong for you?

Chris, it goes wrong after the basket. When you try to pay. Just take a look

(Oddly, the matinee on 20th has just become available again. Weird!)

After clicking on 'Add to Basket' I'm taken to a page which I agree appears to have no relevance to my (theoretical) booking. However, above the main text, there's a box marked 'View Basket' (with a countdown clock next to it, indicating how long they're holding the booking for). Clicking on that box takes me to the payment page.

I didnt tick both boxes. Thats why there was a problem. Anyway good news, i managed to get 2 tickets. Cheers chris. U blooming diamond

For a moment there I thought that I was going to end up actually booking a ticket for the 20th - I've got other plans for my birthday though ;-)
