Morning everyone! Bright sunshine here and no frost. Had scaffolding put up yesterday both front and back of house to replace guttering and fascia boards. At and of day the 4 workmen arrested at patio doors looking very sheepish. What’s wrong I said? We’ve accidentally broken your butterfly they said. ( I had a brightly painted ceramic butterfly on the garden wall they had knocked off and smashed). We will replace it they said, where did you buy it? (It was just something my MIL bought me on her holiday one year ). But I was in a mischevious mood and kept a dead straight face and said that was a wedding present from my late grandmother. OMG their faces, they looked absolutely mortified and just looked at each other horrified. Only kept it up for about 30 seconds and then confessed lol...
