Do you ever wonder, when reading replies on here, what it must be like inside the head of the poster if they're happy with the garbled guff that ends up in print?

it is not printed he says with a teenage toss of his AB head ....
I wonder at the gormlessness of some of the one-liners coined at short notice, kinda hot off the anvil of madcap humour - "The Great War - wot dat den" made me gasp with disbelief. The idea that feigned ignorance of the Great War would be seen as amusing made me gasp a bit more
- the inability of some to cope with any foreign language. Ignorance is treated as a virtue ....

// They know what they mean, and they wonder why readers of their guff can't seem to follow what they're on about.//
o god yeah
I can write: in Aug 1945 the english and americans sent cossacks back to Stalin to die in gulags or be shot
and get ( or got a flood of 'foo what dat den?' hey fing den - and many other one-liners of that ilk. Some are side-splittingly funny such 'foo!' or o gawd!)
and yes I do think - what is difficult about
"in Aug 1945 the english and americans sent cossacks back to Stalin to die in gulags or be shot" - there is a date - there is a main verb, there is a subject and object ( victim) - and what's more it is true !
