That's fantastic.....I once had robins nesting in the barn on top of the runner bean poles...we had short runner beans that year.....

Indeed, Fraser! I could reach the top......long time since we chatted...hope all is well with you.
Love being in Ireland......really feel I've come home. The house will be lovely when we've undone all the damage done by the lazy previous owner. The village is fantastic with the nicest of people. We've made so many friends and had lots of help getting to grips with niggles in the house. I love that everywhere is so clean and litter free...that was a real bee in my bonnet in the UK. It's just such a relaxed and easy going way of life...bliss...x

Yes. I put the lint from my tumble dryer discreetly on shrubs in the garden . Its never there very long before the birds carry it away for nesting.
