Happy Easter everyone.
Sunday. warmer this morning at 13.3°C I got a lot done yesterday ready for summer. Pressure washed the patio slabs, got the barbie out of the shed, it's a big gas one, cleaned it down ready for use, the garden furniture likewise. All ready for summer now. The hedge in the back garden needs a haircut, but that can wait a wee while until the birds have finished nesting.

Morning all and what a beautiful one it is - Happy Easter all and be careful of those choccie bunnies - they get everywhere



Lunch out with HRH my baby sister, her hubbie as in the Duke of Jersey and my eldest niece today and a friend coming along too, so 6 of us in total taking on a nice eatery. The niece is flying in from Leeds.Bradford this morning having been out in sunny Croatia.

We've spent a fabulous couple of days in the garden planting up the veg patch and mowning the lawn. Today I will take time to just sit and enjoy the garden for a couple of hours before heading out to family for lunch.

What a rare treat to be able to sit outside at this time of day. Happy days.

Good morning all. Last day here in the Maldives before we return briefly to Malaysia and grandchildren fly back to UK. Have done plenty of snorkelling and we were grateful to see our first turtle. When you read up about the threats to the newborn it's a wonder any survive.

Also so looking forward to cuddling our new grandson who was born just a day before our departure 3 weeks ago.
