In many threads on this site, we constantly see posters telling others to have respect for this, respect for that. Why? Why should anyone have respect for something they may not like or disagree with? Respect comes in various forms. Tolerance, rather than respect, I think.

shocking - quite shocking - His 'fren'' Duwayne I learnt. RAN AWAY and left stephen to it .....
and he has never said to Doreen - now this is what realy happened....
and one can see why .....
( I had previously thought he had behaved so badly at the scene that he had been arrested to preserved the public peace and that served as a "reason" why Stephen expired in the arms of two christian fundamentalists by and large ignored )

Why not just name the day 'Coming together day' or something similar?
