Noticed from Monday Sadly the Daily Mail have discontinued their historical daily £20 prize for three winners to a weekly £500 prize for 1 winner. Whilst this may appeal to many readers how many of us would prefer to win a daily £20.
Comments on this would be appreciated !!!

Thanks danny. Don't normally do on-line crosswords but may give this a go although prefer the "old fashioned snail mail system, even with
the cost of postage. I feel this deprives those who do not have access
to on-line facilities.
planeman, I'm not sure if the online version will be any different.I rang Mail Plus but could not get any information about this.
Notice it's no longer open to Northern Ireland residents, according to their terms & conditions.
They seem to be making a lot of changes, pitcherwits are now in colour.
I would only do one a week anyway with the Mail (usually Wed) but having picked up the paper today I have completed the £500 one and will simply switch to Tuesdays!!

I do Saturday's DT as well.
ag, Does the £500 crossword only appear on a Tuesday?
Danny,I just assumed from the OP that the £20 had been replaced to a £500 weekly.Perhaps I am wrong?
ag, dunno what is going on, it looks like the changes only apply to the paper editions.I do the competition crossword on line from Mail Plus and there was one yesterday and also today.
Ah right,thanks Danny.
