Strangest Unexplained Pain...
5 Answers
Went to bed Monday night absolutely fine albeit v late because , well, I just don’t sleep much. Woke up Tuesday morning and went to get out of bed and just screamed with pain in my back. I couldn’t move. It was like nothing I’ve ever felt. Mr Smow managed to get me sitting up, whilst practically screaming the entire time and this it - I was stuck like that. After a few hours, and almost sobbing whilst trying to get to the loo, I managed to grab the phone and call doctor saying could they possible come out as I was in sheer pain. They said it was took late but doctor would call me, which he did. He said no point going to hospital as you’ll be sat there for hours. Just keep taking regular painkillers.....
Fast forward to yesterday morning, work up and exactly some same - but now both of my calves literally felt as though I’d ran 2 marathons in a row. There were tight, hard, and if I even attempted to stand up the pain that shot thru them..... Oh this is getting stupid I thought, so rang doctor who agreeed to see me. My neighbour helped me across road. Was fully examined and she said my back did look tilted to left as thought it was stuck in a spasm. Had no idea re calves apart from when she touched them I nearly kicked her in the face!
Another day on and back has eased a smidge but calves still unbearable. Any bright ideas you clever lot??

I agree with the management suggested by your GP
Herniated disc?.....that would affect one leg only and the pain would be sciatic pain........down the back of ONE leg. The OPer is complaining of pain in BOTH legs.
