Fleabag

What do you really think of the TV comedy series Fleabag? I know it’s trendy to love it, but I only find it moderately amusing....and quite depressing at times. Not what I’d call laugh out loud funny. You?

Maybe only a particular type of women truly “get” Fleabag. For me it’s totally overrated. Aside from the main character and the priest, the others are all pretty unpleasant - esp her sister, bro-in-law and Olivia Colman. The business with the stolen sculpture goes on and on and on. Too many issues were pointlessly repeated over and over. Sorry only 5/10 from me, and that mainly for Phoebe’s endearing smile and asides to camera...though I did like the fact that only the priest noticed those.

Olivia Colman as the passive/aggressive god/stepmother is hilarious.

I loved it. Kind of reminded me of a maturer version of Miranda with the looks to camera. Quite emotional as well.
