In the link that tonyav provided , that symbol ( without the word 'off' ) lights up momentarily on the speedometer screen, when you turn the ignition on ( along with other symbols ) then it goes out .

However i have not got an actual button with the symbol as shown in the link .

So , does that mean that the car has actually got Stability Control
( ESP) ?


The light on the dashboard indicates "testing" when you start your car.

If it stays on there is a problem with the stability control system.

No Doug, modern cars are the mind readers.

They know when a driver is ready to *** themselves.
Traction control can be done by the right foot, in a right hand drive car of course!
Left hand drive as well, Boaty.
