What Did You Eat Yesterday??
57 Answers
I know my appetite is poor, I just really struggle to eat a proper meal and I don’t know why , but I told a friend what I ate yesterday, which was a good day, and she actually thought I was winding her up.
Breakfast - 2 ice pops.
Lunch - 2 yoghurts
Dinner - tin of chicken soup. (Ate most of it)
Drinks - loads of water, some milk, some orange juice.
What did you all have??

Then we went out for brunch yesterday and had this family platter thingy of breakfast meats, biscuits and gravy, eggs etc, water to drink and I had orange juice with that as well, then a cup of coffee. Nothing then til dinner and we had salad, cous cous, with steak and salmon fillets, some avocado and sweetcorn and a slice of cheesecake. Had beer with that.
I drink a pint of water before every meal, plus one when I get up and one about an hour before bed, and throughout the day probably 6 mugs of coffee with coco milk. We try to eat organic as much as possible and I don't fry anything at home or add sugar to anything (I'm diabetic), don't do biscuits / cakes / chocolate very often, but not fussed when we go out, I'll eat anything.
I'm a UK size 10/12 bottom and 12/14 top ( big boobs :( ) and my weight is generally stable and lower/ mid healthy BMI naturally. I do suffer from insomnia periodically but that seems to be stress linked and I don't exercise to a huge degree, maybe half an hour- 1 hour per day.
I too think your insomnia might be diet linked and if I were you I'd kill off the processed sugar, up your natural sugar with fruit and increase your protein, so things like wholemeal toast with poached egg, soups, grilled fish and chicken and salads.

Insomnia, memory lapses, seizure on the plane. ????
Stop being so bothered about what other people eat and concentrate on your own diet. Get some proper advice on your nutrition. As I have said previously you don't need to have six course meals to be healthy. Just the right diet. You are what you eat!

As I live alone I tend to eat simply when hungry so no set meal times, I were a bit naughty yesterday Liquorice allsorts for breakfast, Eggs Bacon and mushrooms late afternoon... and a cheese butty at supper time.
I do admit not being the healthiest of Human beings on the planet when it comes to dietary nutrition but do respect some suggestions on here Smow.

The only time I eat breakfast at breakfast time, is when I am on holiday. At home, I usually have a sandwich at lunch time and then nothing else to eat before dinner.
Yesterday it was egg mayonnaise sandwich for lunch and steak, chips, baked tomatoes, baked mushrooms and peas for dinner.
I'm not a snacker.

Smow - seriously your diet yesterday is not remotely healthy. I no longer have a huge appetite but I make sure that what I eat is the right stuff. So......yesterday:
No Brekkie
Lunch - cheese, paté, salad + grapes (not typical - it's usually homemade soup + fruit)
Supper - roasted asparagus with poached smoked haddock with an egg on top, followed by raspberries and strawberries with creme fraiche.
Nothing in between meals - apart from drinks of course.

Yesterday I started with 2 cups of decaf with cream and a few 100% choc buttons
Then garlic chicken mayo, hot smoked salmon, and blue cheese for lunch.
Hungry later so had some raspberries...then some salami an hour later...followed by 3/4 bag of baked crisps.
Dinner was a lamb burger with yogurt and black olive tapenade...red wine...2 squares of 90% choc.
I was hungry yesterday! ;-)
