AA Advert sorry can't see Adverts section (like many)

Does anyone think the AA advert is slightly sexist .. I know there might not be any female AA mechanics (or are there) but it just seems like loads and loads of big beefy men and the broken down person featured is of course a hapless female ........ you would think they would have at least had a couple of females in the line up, if not just to encourage women to think of it as a career ...

Interesting point...I assume they're trying to emphasise that they prioritise lone female drivers (which is current AA policy).

Personally, I think the idea of 400 patrolmen turning up when my car breaks down and a little bit scary...especially as they're all on foot (what's that all about???)

I think people look too into this sort of stuff. I am sure that it was purely accidental and not made like that on purpose. And a high majority of AA mechanics are men and it must be about 50% of drivers are female so I don't see why not. The world is trying too hard to be politically correct.

as an aa man i can say the aa is neither racist or sexist. We do have women patrols and black asian etc etc i would also love to add that all the people in the adverts are the real deal and not actors.

what the hell are u on about its a perfectly good advert playing on the damsel in disstress theme not a delibrate attack of woman and neither is this answer i would feel the same way if they were all woman and somebody complained. its people like you who look out for these things and make a scene of it that really annoy me
