Still on about the chairs!

Big chairs, can’t move any longer a) old age, b) chairs sunk into a groove in the carpet made by the big ring on which it sits.
If I got a couple of squares of plywood and attached the rings to the ply, do you think they’d slide on the carpet?
Or, any other ideas for easy shifting of the chairs (for cleaning etc).

Get the biggest ones you can and if the ply is thick enough, choose ones that have a screwhole in the middle....you might need 5 per chair, 4 around where the circumference of the ring is, only on the other side from the chair IYSWIM, and gthen one in the centre.
