Unknown to me before Killing Eve, but what a superb actress! Truly outstanding. An award so very well deserved.
Can't wait for the next series.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but what I saw left me wondering who they were and what programs were they on about.
One presenter talked about a programme that "had the whole nation gripped" - please don't talk for me!
Whatever programme it was obviously didn't have me gripped.

TCL, I suspect in coming years the rules will have to be fiddled with anyway, given the increase in programmes that are streamed and available anytime rather than having an old-fashioned premiere on terrestrial or satellite TV. As I recall there was some suggestion that Roma missed out on a Best Picture Academy Award because it appeared on Netflix first.
Is this the person you mean?
Never seen her act, but she is very attractive.

Corbyloon; Season 1 aired in April 2018. It is season 2 that has yet to be aired - next Sunday i think.
Maydup; She has a long list of acting credits to her name, mainly 'bit parts in episodes of some of our much loved programmes. They include, Holby, Casualty, Silent Witness, Vera, George Gently, etc, etc, etc. As i said earlier, her breakthrough role was probably in Remember Me, after which she took the lead role in Thirteen as the missing girl. She has, as they say, learned her craft. And learned it rather well.

KEN, Killing Eve was first broadcast in April last year in America. The BAFTA eligibility criteria are that,
"Programmes must have had their first transmission in the UK between 1 January and 31 December 2018 on terrestrial, cable, satellite or digital channels, including web-based broadcasters who
commission content (e.g. Netflix, Amazon, You Tube Originals).
Programmes may be regional or networked.
Programmes will be considered for one category only.
Unless otherwise specified in the rules of the individual category, all programmes must have a minimum scheduled running time of 20 minutes, not including any commercial breaks.
For a programme to qualify for the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards, the programme must have had the worldwide premiere transmission in the UK.
The programme should have been initiated and developed in the UK; with creative control
residing within the UK and/or a UK broadcaster must have the primary editorial control over the
programme.
Where your programme falls outside of this eligibility, it can only be considered in the International
category."
The worldwide premiere was in America not the UK and as such, it should have been entered in the International category.
