I am always amazed that people go out and buy a dog without reading up on the breed etc. No offence, but if you didn't want a pet that molts .... why did you buy this breed of dog????? It isn't the dog's fault. So, if you found hair on your sofa or in your sink, left by your child or partner (if you have either), would you want to get rid of them too?????? THINK, please!!!!! But, now that you have him and hopefully will love him and KEEP him.....
If you don't want to use normal rubber gloves, most pet shops sell a grooming mitten that is excellent for removing excess hair and the dogs love them as they (the gloves, not the dogs!) have little nobbly bits that give a bit of a massage. These gloves are not expensive and give a lovely shine to the coat as well.
Good luck!

Furminator makes products for less shedding..
go to petsmart.com and type in Furminator and hit go, it will show you a tool and products to reduce shedding, everyone I have talked to with this stuff say they like it and it helps...I can't afford it right now, or I would get it, it also can't be used ALL the time, read the instructions before you use it, if you can find or get one over there.
