As part of the ruling majority in Parliament, why aren't there any candidates from the DUP for PM ?

The election is NOT to appoint a Prime Minister but to appoint a new leader of the Conservative Party. The fact that the Queen will then automaticall y invite the appointee to lead her Government is irrelevant ; it's a party leader who is being elected, so only Conservative s are eligible to stand.

Personally. I don't think Ukip will disappear.
I think the LibunDems had a bit of a freak result in the local elections and are getting carried away with themselves.
The only way Tommy won't be elected is if the fix is well and truly in.
But hope you're right about the other things.
What happened here then, Spice?
