(Two restaurants + bar meals. Low prices. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere). It's the Brandon House Hotel which, unsurprisingly is in Brandon. (Drive to Brandon and follow the signs for the railway station. The hotel is on the right, just before the station):

Just came back from a week there myself. We ate out every night and so tried most of the restaurants. You can book in advance at Rajinda Pradesh and La Sapiniere (the posh one where you have to dress up). We found for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 girls aged 14) we were spending between 60 -80, the cheapest were lunchtime meals as we did not want to eat as much with activities booked in the afternoon so the bills then were about 40. Hubby was drinking beer, I tended to have a glass of wine, one girl had coke and the other tap water. The more expensive meals were at Hucks, but they were substantial meals.
