Trainers Caught Up Round Telephone Wire ...

As you drive down into my street there’s a pair of trainers hung up around the telephone wire and i’m totally fed up of looking at them every time I drive /walk down our street . I’ve hated looking at them from day 1 and they’ve been up there for well over a year now! What can I do to get them down . Would the council/ bt deal with it if I contacted them ? Any ideas anyone .

After 12 years (Yep!) of chatting to you Hopkirk I'm fully aware you hardly drink and the Job you do...it was just a quip ;-) but on my part can honestly say I've never lost any footwear ever.

I'd like to say I keep my feet on the ground, but I'd be talking BS.

Nice one, I keep them fully strapped to my feet... think it goes back to football days and being quick footed.

I did lose a shoe in a nightclub many years ago strutting my stuff (about 2001) they were slip on's... I got it back straight away but never wore them again.
