6 Monthly Doctors Check Up.

Been for my check up and blood tests one for my liver was Serum gamma GTC 75 nurse said it was high, but everything else was ok. Cholesterol 5.8.

Yes.......it is a bit high.....not over the moon, but a bit high.
What is you question? or should i guess?

If you feel well, not an excessive drinker and not on any tablets.......then don't worry.

if you are otherwise than above, you may need your liver function tests repeated.

My guess is that it is nothing to worry about......certainly not cancer.

Perhaps a fuller medical history might have been worth recording.

Well, the abnormal liver test "may" be associated with your heart problem.
Will be interested to see what your GP suggests.

Hi Sqad, you remembered. Have changed my doctor and went for a little medical test and blood test. Not seen doc just the practice nurse. I am still taking, candesartan 4mg, Atenolol 75 mg and sometimes furusimide occasionally. I feel well, but am overweight, and am slimming, lost 1 stone in 6 weeks.. No, I do not drink at all.Doctor hasn't suggested anything not seen, nurse said see you in 6 months.

A wise decision by your nurse.
The highish abnormal liver function test could be a side issue of your hear problem.........no big deal midage.
