What size of boiler ? and is it for central heating/ hot water/ or both.
If you don't know what size you need look at the old one it should say the capacity. If you can't do that then how big a house is it for ?

By the way it is compulsory to have the boiler fitted by a qualified heating engineer and they have to get it inspected and tested by another qualified engineer. So you have to get the price including fitting.

Daughter had an Ideal boiler combi boiler fitted last week. Don't know the size but she has a 3 bed house. Cost was £1616.00, that included a new flue and gas pipe re-routed. Hope this helps.

Do you get any benefits such as DLA? If you do it might be worth checking to see if you can claim any grants, we got a new combi boiler, radiators with all the pipework, cavity wall and loft insulation for a payment of about £800.00p.
