OMG, I have just finished watching this programme, I never expected the ending, I spent most of the last two parts hoping that it would have a good ending for him, all of the actors deserve awards for this programme.

Totally agree, elfin. More like a documentary at times, that's how true it seemed. Possibly a tad too much gritty language for some, but that only made it more true to life, imho.
I was in two minds to watch tonight’s episode, last week I really disliked the character of joe so much. I did watch it, superb acting, though I still don’t like his character. Was it the sisters husband who hung himself . ? Did we get any inclination he was unwell . Thanks .
Anne, no it wasn't his sister's husband who hung himself. It was the guy who was in the Home with Joe, who had also been abused, and told Joe where his abuser lived.

Just riveting last night elfin. That's what you call acting, it felt real.
It was amazing and so well acted. Very thought provoking and especially so by focusing on the pictures of Jesus Christ on the house walls in the last episode. Excellent television.
L B . Of course it was , doh .
It made me cry. Brilliant television. Top marks to all concerned.
