Busy Nhs!!
12 Answers
Had a phone call from the hospital asking if I still wanted an appointment.
When I asked what for the lady said I was on the list to see a doctor re high blood pressure and cholesterol. I said I had no knowledge of this. She remarked that two a half years ago I went on the list to see a doctor and I had just come to the top of the list. I told her my condition is managed by pills from my GP so I didn't need the appointment after all this time.
I know they are busy but I think this was a bit extreme.

When I visit my local hospital you may walk through some blood spattered corridors, until you pass management area, staircase with shag pile carpet deep enough to lose yourself in and fresh flowers.
