How many couples have not had a domestic quarrel at sometime, and for a neighbour to record the upset, report it to the police and then to the Guardian, obliviously a Boris hating leftie.

Hunt is on a hiding to nothing. He is not as nearly well-known throughout the wider party whereas everyone knows Boris. Do not be surprised if Boris does to Hunt what May did to Osborne and Gove - drop him like a hot brick.

Dave, he only half of the Parlimentary Party vote. There are another 150,000 party member votes to add to those in the next round.

Tony, I've tried to find that link on I-Player, but no luck. I think it will be bad for this country if Johnson becomes PM. He carries a lot of baggage and seems to have little integrity, unlike Jeremy Hunt, who has no such background. Who knows what the Tory Party members will think?

Was not there so don’t know what happened so if the comments are correct here then there must have been about 26 in the room . Is it just me or is Boris getting nervous now he might actually have to do something rather than talk and write about . Interesting few months ahead of staying in the EEC .

The Daily Mail's piece about the neighbours is a classic tabloid smear campaign. Apparently their concerns about Boris's behaviour are to be dismissed because they are "leftists", well-off (as if Johnson isn't a millionaire himself), playwrights (!) and, most damningly of all, "remainers". Since most people on this forum are crossword fanatics, I assume you all understand the phrase "ad hominem".

Not that I rated him very highly to begin with, but Hunt has really gone down in my estimation by calling for Boris to make a public explanation of his 'domestic'. Who does that? If the neighbours had been out no-one would have been any the wiser.
