Second Hand Bike

am looking at one and have seen one on gumtree at quite reasonable price - I phoned the guy and I just cannot understand him. I asked him was it for a boy or man. No sorry couldn't understand him at all. Went back onto gumtree and the wheel is 26" - would that be suitable for a man. Thanks

Cycles sizes used to be defined by the sizes of their wheels (as per the 26" you've quoted) but they now tend to be defined by the sizes of their frames, which tens to complicate matters a bit.
26" wheels are common though on bikes designed for older children, young teens and teens and adults with short inside leg measurements:

(Bikes designed for adults with longer legs might have slightly larger wheels)
