Agree about the Coty L'Aimant, Tilly - only perfume my mother ever wore, and I have a bottle of it in my desk as I write, and she died 19 years ago.
Another is the malty smell of the distillery next to the Clyde, and having to do rowing in the winter at school.
Is it a bottle with a little dip stick, GG?
No, it's a spray with a gold top - and it still smells as it should!
Another of mine is Lily of the Valley. My Grandma's garden was full of the pungent perfume. That's why I wear Diorissimo perfume. Lily of the Valley in essence. :-)
Oh, don't get me started on perfumes, Tilly! Maybe a should start a thread.....
Go on then, GG. I dare you.
Old linoleum reminds me of my granny’s stairs. Pencils, recalls school days.
Memories - too sad :(
Let it pass then, GG. xx
Ha, actually I have an empty Rive Gauche on my bathroom shelf - but I never take the top off to smell it, that would make me sad. Can't bring myself to throw it out though...
