Decided to try Lotto, first time after about two years. Bought five tickets, thought I had done it wrong, bought another five,

Twenty pounds down the drain. Checked today won £609 pounds, 4 numbers.

Hardly life changing but we are eating meat next week.

my daughter bought a £2 scratchcard a few weeks ago. The various wins on it totalled £40! My best ever result was 4 numbers on Lotto a few years ago - £91.

Many years ago I was *literally* down to my last pound and had a £98 bill that needed squaring urgently. Bought a scratchy and won £2 so bought two more scratchies and won £100. Paid the bill and bought a big mac to celebrate :-)
