Good Morning Folks
For 2 weeks I’ve been participating on this Q&A site. I had an accident a couple of weekends ago and have been confined to barracks by the Doctors due to severe bruising and a haematoma the size of a small African country on my shin. Bed (couch) rest with leg elevated was prescribed and believe me for a very active bloke this has driven me nuts. Anyhow I’m back to the HorsePittall this afternoon and hopefully will get Parole and back to day job Monday.

Thank you for those welcoming people who humoured me and answered my questions. There was no agenda save a selfish need to pass a few hours in the company of ‘real’ people.

To those who suggested I was a sweaty Troll in a string vest, a (wait for it…) Returning User , worked for the CIA, GCHQ, or even….The Editor: Belligerent remarks to new users such as ‘who are you’ what is your motive’, I know who you are, ad nauseum, are very off putting, exclusive and I suggest eventually threaten the profitability of the site. This is not a Country Club its an open Forum that relies on Advertising revenue and footfall to keep it going, and a very nice one it is too.

In fairness one is likely to be wary of someone new who has multiple chatty type questions. Regulars become so by gradually being more active over a longer period, and tend to have a specific single query on their mind.
