Is that an anagram of a tank?
Do you have an email to ask the setter?

Whose quiz is it?
Retrocop:
The quiz is described only as 'related to things to do with the army' here. (So it might be about more than tanks):
https://fundraisingquizzes.net/quizzes.php
(I note that 'hopeful' has asked the same question on that site, which is currently unanswered. Of course 'hopeful' and 'dozyrozy' might be one and the same anyway!)

If you don't get a definitive answer here, dozyrozy, I suggest phoning the quiz setter (at a reasonable hour, of course!) to check with him. David Felstead is on 01406 424751.
Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance I see.

There has been a query raised on the Fundraising Site, as yet unanswered.

Hang on a while perhaps.
Having 2 letters wrong is highly unlikely but if PG were LO then it does make Leopard (tank)
I do have a 7 letter answer for 12 (might need a bit of research). The one that puzzles me is 17 First athlete to win 100 metres in olympic games . I'm not sure that question is right.
I had a look on the Fundraising site and seen a thread about folk asking for answers when asked not to do so.

https://fundraisingquizzes.net/thread.php?id=12170

An AB member e-mailed the setter why that was a condition and the setter (HONEYBEE) has said what her reply was. It included this,

"I have noted the questions asked on AB and have asked the editing team to remove some answers. I shouldn't need to do this."

Can the Ab Editor confirm that folk will continue to be allowed to ask for answers to ANY quiz questions?

Also, can the Ab Editor confirm that requests from quiz-setters for answers to be deleted will be declined?
AB Editor has stated quite clearly that AB is run by sitte rules and not Quiz Setters rules.

Whether one likes that stance or not is a personal issue.

I'm not sure discussing what goes on on another site is totally fair and doubt that Oddboddy wlll like it either.
Traffic. It’s all about traffic.
I see no harm in asking whether the policy has changed or no.

ODDBODY did not respond to the quiz-setter with what the Ab Editor's previous response had been so she may not be aware or has forgotten.
I find it simple, if a quiz has rules - I follow them.

Though I may have given an odd answer when unaware of those rules if I don't have the quiz.
This site has differnt rules and I follow those ones.
I have a copy of this quiz and nowhere on it does it specify there is a no asking policy. When I replied I did not give a direct answer .. I answered the question about whether the anagram was possibly incorrect and stated that I had a possible answer. Not sure what I may be considered to have done against the spirit of the quiz. I did raise a query about another question i was dubious about but did not ask for the answer to it.
The thread on the other site is not relating to the tanks quiz.
You did not copy all the ABer said to Honeybee though Corbyloon especially this bit 'If I am unable to complete it by the closing date, then it goes in the shredder and you do not get any money at all'
Saintstim, you've done nothing wrong.

Corbyloon changed the direction of this thread.
SAINTSTIM, that Olympic question isn't very clear. Does it mean the name of the winner of the first heat or the winner of the gold medal?
SMOUSE, I gave a link to the thread in question. If folk want to read what the AB member asked and Honeybee's response, they will see that both were lengthy.

My issue is only with contact being made with the Ab Editor asking for the deletion of answers.
Odd place to put it does the AB editor read every thread
No idea but the Ab Editor does contribute to threads now and again. If there's no reply over the next few days I'll ask again in the Ab Editor's blog.
